Humanitarian Issues Need Multiple Levels
Spiritual
Logical
Pragmatic
Species
Universe
The first level of understanding for any Human issue, like homelessness or theft for examples is Spiritual. A baby will die without being touched. Depression will cause a person to make all the wrong decisions and possibly end their own life.
The second level of decision making when approaching large affective issues like gun control for example is Logical. This is the counter-balance to Spiritual and would be the obvious second step. Between these two steps a “reality on the ground” concept can be formed.
The third level is the product of the first two levels is thought of as a process to implement the synthesis of the first two.
The fourth level defines the process with the end goal prime directive for the species taking into account how it will play out in the very long term in nth steps and “molding” it, defining very hard limits as to not violate the first understanding.
The final understanding folds the action into the fate/destiny/goal of Mankind where whatever path is taken accounts for everything else.
