Sheriffs can now remotely shutdown your vehicle

Before recently, the ability to remotely activate your vehicle Anti-Theft Immobilizer System was technology only available to the CIA. Then it was given to the FBI.

Today I can confirm that Sheriffs also now have access to that technology. It can be used while your vehicle is being driven as it will cut power to the fuel line, or fuel pump in the case of Mitsubishi. Nissan cuts electricity to the ignition system and starter.

It will be worse with electronic vehicles. The doors can be locked and you can be automatically rerouted.

I knew this was going to happen after Michael Hasting’s death. The software controlling that Mercedes was actually Canadian Blackberry QNX Auto that was hijacked to kill him.

They don’t want you to have freedom of movement.

Fix

You will have to find a diagram for your vehicle electrical system and run a bypass from the ECU to the affected systems.
